  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I am the guy that you sold remarked fake lens to, on ebay.
After I agreed with your suggestion of 'cancel transaction',
you cancel my buying but refuse to refund me.

If you do not give me a good answer,
I will post your datas online including
your street address, your bank account
to prevent more victims to be fooled.

This guy beleives the lens he bought was fake but I strongly disagree with that. The lens was listed with LOTS of high resolution actual pictures and with no returns/refund accepted. I do not see anything special in publishing of my data online.

If you are right,
why you send the eBay official form that you agree with 'cancel transaction'?

After I agreed with that too, ebay told me that I don't have to buy it.
But you still did not refund my money!!

Why you cut the linking of pictures immediatelly after acution ended.
Now, NO ONE CAN SEE WHAT YOU sold in that auction.

Why not post the original photos online,
let every professional cine lens users here,
comment on this lens?

You know, I have to chime in here and say that I just received a perfect zoom lens from Serhij in the mail today, carefully packed, exactly as described (with a perfect PL mount on it that was machined in the Ukraine, at an ex-missile factory). This guy has been straight up with me from the beginning and there was a lot of back and forth in the deal.

I don't know what Peiling Kuo's (real name?) problem is, but if you buy a lens from the Ukraine and it says "no returns or refunds" then I think you need to recognize the risks inherent in the deal.

I wish this forum wouldn't be used so much as an arena for pissing contests...

That's why I post my case here.
To warn anyone who is going to buy a lens from Ukraine.

In most cases Serhij looks like a good seller with good feedbacks.
When I bid on his ebay auction of a French Kinoptik cinema lens,
he has very much good feedbacks with Paypal guarantee.

However, when I paid via Paypal, he return my money,
and asked for wire transfer to his bank account directlly.

However, the lens I got was a Russian Lomo lens.
The name plate of "Kinoptik" was glued onto the original lens.
The aperture ring was remarked also.

I also contact the manager of Kinoptik, Bernard Roux,
he said that they do not produce a lens in this type,
although he did not hand this lens on.

My case was not his first 'misunderstanding auction'.
but many people fooled by his tricks.
Take a look at his feedback of ebay #300281922078,
send at Jan-29-09 19:27 .

If you bought a lens of 50mm T2.1, how can you make sure it is T2.1?
Maybe it is remarked from a T2.6 lens.
 
why on earth would anyone go through the trouble to "Counterfeit" an old Kinoptic lens? No Lomo ever made even vaugly resembles a kinoptic lens, and evey lomo i've ever seen says lomo all over it. I think if the guy was selling an old lens, no refunds, as is, you get what you get. If you don't like it move on.

The lens he sold to me, is NOT AN AS-IS NO RETURN acution.
It is also marked with 'Paypal accepted' below.

So, Serhij Piskunov should take full responsibility for what he sold!

Besides, the outer looking of this lens has been remarked
that very very similar to high priced Kinoptik lens.

I make a brief:

I also found that he sold many remarked lenses recently.

After Serhij refuced my ask of return and refund,
I send an eBay dispute and engage eBay buyer protection process.

Then, he send an eBay offical form that he agreed with 'cancel transaction'.
I agreed with that immediatelly and eBay told me that I don't have to buy this item anymore.

But one month past...
Serhij Piskunov still DO NOT REFUND my money and do not reply my emails.

How can you trust this guy?

This is in fact a standard msg in Serhij's ebay listings for Lomo lenses.

For what it's worth, I bought a 75mm Lomo from Serhij on Ebay by international money order; and then a 28mm lomo from him privately through personal email correspondence. I was happy with both of the lenses he sent me, as they were reasonably priced, well packed, and just as described.

I recommend him, and will probably buy more lenses from him in the future.

4 fake lenses to Hong Kong and Asia.

Am I wrong?

Did you ever contact me after the eBay buyer protection engaged?
You even never reply the personal mail I send here, REDUSER.NET.
