found this camera whilst looking for helmet camera to take surfing. It got me thinking of the plausibility of 2/3rd fix helmet housing
...guess we'll have to wait for final dimensions

Happy 3K barrels People :)

That's a lovely picture!

I think we will have to demote this camera because there isn't a cat in hell's chance its more EPIC than the EPIC.

...That sounds so fanboyish...arrh well!

Seeing that wave made my blood rush. I'm in cold NYC and couldn't be further
from an aussie beach right now.

Must be getting towards the end of summer for you
and I hope you are still catching waves bro.

Dont EVER say that again! Its always summer here :)
Sounds like you need a holiday mate. We'll do a house swap... I would love to live in NY

Uh, sorry Tim. If you think that the Red name isn't a trademark as it relates to cinema gear because it's part of people's vocabulary, you haven't got a very good understanding of trademark law. See the little TM at the bottom of the image that the OP started? That means they own the name for that camera....just because surfers use the term means nothing........

EDIT: If the USPTO go with your reasoning that also means that Red's attempt to trademark the word Epic as it relates to their camera will be moot

EDIT2: and so then my brain started running after Tim's post, and so I did a quick search on USPTO....it appears to be a dead issue at the moment....but i'm no patent lawyer.....
