Incredible...

Jim

I had to watch it with the sound off, the the look is amazing! :)

Zeiss Ultra Primes for 1983, don't know details for the other two.
Edit was on Avid, DI on a Quantel box at LipSync Post London.

First episode was terrific - best drama on British tv for a long time

part two on Thursday - can't wait!

Jim what about to turm REDUSER ( as well as this amazing forum ) into digital/web magazine something like the AMERICAN CINEMATOGRAPHER for the RED Camera ???

I should point out that the trailer is for the trilogy so contains a mix of S16mm, 35mm and RED originated footage as each film is shot on a different format.

Looks incredible. Love the use of color, and they certainly haven't skimped on tone. It leaves me wanting more from US television.

I tried to view 1974 online, but unfortunately it isn't made available unless you're viewing from the UK or the Republic of Ireland. Any ideas as to other potential outlets so those of us who can't make it ashore don't have to be left out?

Cheers, and fantastic work. Really sets the mark high...

it was James Marsh's work on Wisconsin Death Trip that intrigued me into watching Red Riding, had no idea any part of it was shot on RED. Was beautifully made, and wonderfully acted.

Its available on DVD already by the way if anyone did want to go out on a limb and buy it...

really nice nice- cant wait to see it. and thats really what is all about isnt it? RED,s16mm,35mm... what ever... as long as it fits the story.

Note that HD video was not included in my "what ever"...

Amazing.

Script.

Acting.

Cinematography.

Sound.

Post.

Directing.

All that impression have got just through one watch of the preview trailer.
