  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Zeiss zf still

There are still lenses that do not cover full frame imaging, aren't there?

Yes, several. The Nikon "DX" lenses do not cover full frame, for example.

Hopefully Mr. Anderson will see this and confirm, but I'm pretty sure Casting, one of the entries for the 4K 72 Hour Challenge, was shot on ZFs.

Thank Erik! Ill look for it.

Albert, very cool. damn, that looks so good... (and so filmic RED) what compression codec for web?

Zak, thats the way to snap that whip!

Thanks, the compression is H.264
and no:) Yayo has nothing to do with Mi-Yayo Cartel.
Yayo means an egg in polish - (JAJO)
The footage is my second unit material from a feature film "The war is over" by Mitko Panov; film is in it's last stage of editing.

I was actually sick that weekend and wasn't able to DP. I believe Casting was shot with the Red 18-50. That was around the time our lenses were with Peter at RP Lens getting modded. I'll have to check with Mr. Mousel to confirm.

We just finished a short doc for William Woods University. The majority of the b-roll for that was shot on the ZFs and the video should be online this week. I'll post the link once it's up.

We're also in prepro for a commercial for MU that is shooting next week. The entirety of it will be shot on the ZFs and our new tokina 11-16.

I'll try my best to get some footage up, but looking at my schedule for the next four weeks I make no promises...
