Donan Follow Focus update!

[Tonaci Tran]

Quote from Donan "pushing ahead full steam, with the design of our MH-FF PRO follow focus system. We are now working on the prototype, and should have something to show you very soon."

[Matthew Chuang]

Looks very nice... if we didn't have an FF4 this would be very tempting.

Hi I went to your site to find out more about your Follow focus but it was the same as your ad in American Cinematographer.
Where can I get some information about the FF?

RED DIGITAL CINEMA

=============================================

I am a Red consultant and a Red Owner. I am very interested in camera accessories. This company never answered my email and the site doesn't look any different than it did almost a year ago. Totally pathetic marketing if you ask me.

I was the first person to put a deposit down on a Red at NAB (#12) because I had known Oakley for years and knew Jim was not going to start something unless it was a success.

Who are these guys? Almost a year with no reply?

[Jeff Kilgroe]

Tony, did they actually answer your email???

They answered one of mine long, long ago. Basically gave me the same line in your post above. Then nothing...

I met #12 when it was shooting at Bali Airport. Still here ?

[John Mcrae]

looks like a pretty solid system, can't wait to get one in my hands.

[Tony Lorentzen]

Yep I got an answer from Spencer Duncan on March 20, 2008. He said they'd be shipping in late March or early April. Didn't say what year, though ;-)

He also wrote "please don't hesitate to email us with any further questions", which I did on June 17. Never heard from him since then...

Until I see more than just renders - I'm considering it to be vaporware.

Pricing?

Pricing?

How much does this jonx sell for?

[Tony Lorentzen]

It doesn't... it's a render.

[Dominik Muench]

sexy...if the price is good im definitely up for one.

[Clayton Harper]

I like my follow focuses made out of metal, not pixels. :bleh:

[Fredrik Callinggard]

I've e-mailed these guys about 5 times over the last year and half with no answer.

[Zakaree Sandberg]

after going arri... i wont do anything else! especially if its plastic

[MIKE TESTIN]

Got an email from these guys finally. They sent me their pricelist.

[Dave Blackham]

Yep, I got an email too. It looks very good.
