Few months... I heard this many times but I'm still waiting for the RED 18-85...As RED has announced a 5 lens set for s35 (http://reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=27080) just under 20K I think that price will be seen as too high.
They are beautiful lenses with a great history (can't argue with Barry Lyndon). But, the RED lenses will be available within a few months. And, I just don't see how optics from several decades ago can compete with newly designed optics, esp in a digital format where lenses have to be doubly-perfect.
Its going to be hard for anyone (including me) to justify buying a set of older lenses when you can get a brand new set, under warranty, and PL mount for the same price.
