There was an option to read Red Brick seraial number and additional data but can't find haw it was done.

After a rental we have a dead brick.
It was big job with several Reds.
Unfortunately our bricks were not marked. My BIG mistake.
I hadn't wrote down the serial numbers before either.

Is there a way to check it up who was the original owner?
Will the Brick be covered by warranty as it is in use about 10 months now?

Does anyone else find that the serial numbers wear off really easily on the RED bricks. On most of mine, half the numbers are unreadable.

Yes, they rub off too easily, but labels are your friend, especially if you are renting them out or working with multiple companies' Reds.

That said, Undo + Joystick push (simultaneously, like ejecting a mag is Undo + Exit) will get you the info you want as to battery cycles etc. Not sure if battery serial number is on there as I'm home right now.

You're right. You can scrape them off with your fingernail. Pretty bad printing.

Thanks Paul,

Undo + Joystick push did the trick.
Unfortunatelly it does display only camera hours, software version and number of Red Brick charge cycles.

I have heard that when you open the Red Brick there is a label inside with serial number.

Checked the original Invoice and didn't found any serial numbers listed there.

Actually with the faulty Brick it narrowed down to connector.
The Red Cardle we have has new battery plate and rest of Bricks do workd OK.
This one does give power only when I manually push it thowards the connector.
Cleaned the contacts etc. No luck.
Measuring with multimeter shows like battery is OK.

Thanks for the help.
