This Wednesday, Belcourt Theater, my friend JD Souther is playing and asked me to film. I'd be glad to do it, but he would like two cameras, I only have one. I've got a guy available to come down with me, who is also a capable operator, and we'll be providing the Cooke lenses, anybody down that way have an idle Red Wednesday night?
Think sub $500, the further sub, the better the odds.
Just one evening, and I understand this is nobody's preferred day rate, but if your Red is there, and not doing anything that night, it's not big money, but it is easy money- at least that's the way I'm looking at it.
I don't rent my red out w/o me, so I understand if it's the case with you too, it's no problem to get another ticket, some beers and dinner I believe are in the plan, too.
I already pretty much told him a two RED shoot would be unlikely at his budget, but there's no harm in asking, right?
