Attaching Base Production Pack

This is pry a stupid question, but I'll ask anyhow. I just got my cam, and the base prod pack. I put the plate on the camera with the 4 lever nuts.... do i still need to use screws from the bottom onto the camera? If so, which ones?

No, you don't.

If you've used the four hex bolts on the sides of the base of the camera, there's no need to put any more bolts from the bottom onto the camera. Not quite sure how you used the lever nuts as they are for tightening onto 19mm rods.

I'm sorry, I used the allen bolts... So no need for the bottom screws?

One thing to be aware of - there's no need to massively overtighten the side hex bolts. I'd say a quarter turn past finger tight is enough. Any more can overstress the bottom plate or even slightly warp it.

If it ain't wobbling, or coming loose if you try wobbling the camera attached to a tripod, then it's tight enough!
