I saw this on ebay today and seemed like it might be a good thing for people that want to use both PL lenses and Nikon glass without switching out the mounts to do so: Nikon Lens to PL Mount link

Anyone try these things out? Thoughts? Is it too good to be true in the above described capacity?

Well, there are adapters that make Nikon lenses work on cameras with the wrong FFD, B4, Pl. There usually has to be an element that corrects for the FFD which magnifies the image by about 1.4, with the loss of about a stop of light, if my math is correct.....2x extender takes 2 stops right? 1.4x = approx 1 stop?

It's not a magic bullet, but it could prove usefull for long lenses.

Cheers,

Nick

seems interesting, would like to know more about actual light loss by someone who has tried one ... got a lot of Nikon and Hasselblad glass lying there (saw on the website there's also a hasselblad adapter too) !

I believe this will simple turn your Nikon into a macro lens.

Not worth it, i have one.

that's a bummer. any particular thoughts on what's not so great about it? is there light loss? did it turn your lens into a macro? did it yield subpar image quality?

just curious about your experience...
