Does anyone know if Peter Hyams is shooting "Beyond a Reasonable Doubt" with anamorphic lenses? I like his use of anamorphic in past films, and when I saw that he was shooting his next feature with the Red One in 2.35:1, I started to wonder...
It's too bad the DVD's encode of 'The Relic' is so incredibly awful (the full screen VHS is almost better). That movie, despite being pretty cheesy (and nothing like the far superior book on which it was based), had some great cinematography for a movie of its caliber. No fake horror over-lighting there.
