With the help of Sander Kamp I have been able to find and eliminate a bug in Clipfinder that caused crashes when multiple windows were open, one of these was closed, and the clip display settings (proxy resolution, high-quality) were changed.

The fixed version is now available from my website.
Many thanks to Sander !

Cheers,
Hans

P.S. I encourage every Clipfinder user to report problems to me.

Thanks Hans!

Additional QT CODECs ?

Additional QT CODECs ?

Hi Hans,

Is the list of supported codecs pre-determined somehow (render settings) ? Would like to use the Microcosm codec but it does not appear in the list as an option (appears fine under Shake for example) ?

Any suggestion(s) ?

Thanks for the update Hans & understand that your hands are tied.

I've asked this question elsewhere, but RED have never answered ?!
Some 'added/installed' codecs do appear (AJA & BlackMagic), others do not. Very strange and do not understand why there has been no feedback from RED.

Regards, D

David,

The list of available codecs is fixed in REDline, which is what Clipfinder uses for rendering. There's nothing I can do about that in the short term.

Sorry,
Hans

Hans,

you still in the top, thanks!

Vico.
