Hi
I am on set and have a few questions from the d.o.p, is there any way on the display to know when your viewing raw or redspace, I have set the camera to record redspace as the the lut and have one of the buttons on the side as raw, but as the raw look is somewhat similar to our look we have created in redspace we are getting lost and with an exposure difference between the two this is not great, I know we can go in the menu and switch between them to be sure but was wondering if there is a simpler way people know? Also is the ability to load looks from red alert in the camera active yet, havent down some reading in a while on here so I aint sure, I ask as one of the problems I am having is the look we have created on the red lcd is miles away from the look we have when I open the files on my mac, the color cast is much heavier.
Also a general question about exposure, correct me if i am wrong but you should set your exposure levels based on raw file, if this is the case why does the histogram ever reference the LUT, or is this for people who will be using that LUT the whole way through the production?
Cheers
