  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Rumor

I've had a few camera shops express interest in becoming a reseller for Red. Scarlet seems like a good fit for these shops.

Well, when there is Scarlet, then there are accessories. When there are accessories, then there is everything, basically. I doubt it would be just Scarlet. Everything is modular. :whistling:

I believe B&H and others are well set up for serving large volume. It may actualy save money using well established distributors with thin margins.

However, I would still like to see the same level of customer support as Red offers now. There are pros and cons, but certainly worth exploring - no surprise here. What would be nice is if there was an outlet and a service outfit in Australia.

I am sure all three.

I don' t know about the rest of you, but since I have been involved in this for SO VERY LONG back when there were about 500 of us, not 5000.. That I've always felt the RED group to be a small family.

I am beginning to see just how large this company is going to become.

Jim, Jarred.. You guys won't forget me will you?

:bye2:

Jay

I can see RED maintaining exclusive distribution on the R1 and the EPIC, and having a distribution network for the Scarlet.

How can it be a DSLR killer if you can't get it at B&H and Adorama?
