  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

BLACK FIELD period feature

Probably the best thing i´ve ever seen shot on RED. It´s so good that in fact, i don´t care what it was shot with, but it just looks looks awesome (framing and lighting). Congratulations.

Can we have a HD version of it?

I know it's a winner when I don't think about what it was shot on and focus rather on the story, and the overall production values. I am looking forward to seeing this.

Looks fantastic, Stelios!

Wow. Stunning scenery and visuals. I'm looking forward to seeing this one.

haha, the story line isn't for me. Which some would say makes for a great movie. But I love the cinematography. Great composition, a overal mood.

i completely agree with stevesherrick. its looks so good that i forget about the images and watch the story. The visuals just take you to where the story takes place...exactly what its supposed to do. awesome job.

I second that Toronto screening...

Those actors are 'going for it!' looks like a barrel full of fun performances, warts, wounds, systs, naked apes and all.

The sound/vocal performances was especially excellent, throaty croakiness allround. And thank god for a trailer which actually gives you a sample of the actors vocal performances..

What was the sound recording department like? Mics, recorders, etc? Id be very interested in hearing about this...

Glad you like it!

As I said before, I am not involved in any way in the production
so I don't know details such as lenses, audio recorders etc.
(I would imagine since it's a big production to have full quality proffesional equipment.)

The movie according to imdb is due to be released 1st May in Greece.

WOW! Makes us proud...

Jim

looks very promising!!! shooting a feature in Greece is not an easy task.. it seems this team has managed to produce a very good film!!!

Brilliant, artistically excellent, the best of the best. Love it.

Not yet... the film should be out in autumn in Greece.

I'll let you know if I learn anything.

Looking forward to seeing it! :-)
