  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Where is the new Arri Matte Box + FF combo?

Thanks Mitch, I checked it out but it doesn't quite work with my setup since it has to butt up against the attached rods.

Sorry guys, with a wife & kids Valentine's Day weekend becomes a pretty all-consuming thing.

We were just waiting on pricing and part numbers from Arri so that we can enter them into our inventory system. No point in announcing something here, having a bunch of you call in for quotes and we don't know what to tell you.

I meet with folks from Arri tomorrow. If there's time I will try to post tomorrow, otherwise it should be Wednesday. But we're already getting things prepared for NAB and I have a series of projects I'm involved in, so it may be a few days. Rest assured that these products exist and will be made available shortly.
 
Hey guys, just wanted to apologize for the delay. The boys over at Arri's camera accessory division are busy churning out parts for the new MB28 matteboxes and so are delayed on the new MMB-1 items. I've seen some prototypes and know what some additional items are coming, but can't announce anything yet because they still have to determine pricing and even the parts numbers for anyone to order the things. It shouldn't be long and it will greatly expand the world of use for this terrific mattebox. just didn't want time to go by without an update.

Both the MB-28 and the MMB-1 are sweet pieces. The FF-1 is pretty swank too.

As with many things, worth the wait.
 
As I said on another thread, I'm shooting a video TODAY and we hope to have something up on the website within a week. Photos have to be taken, copy has to be written, inventory must be entered into our database, etc. All this is happening while we're in the middle of heavy prepping for NAB. Oh yeah, and we're renting and selling camera equipment too.

The stuff exists. It's on my desk. You'll see it very soon. I promise.
