Hello everyone. Nice to be here
I'm actually new to RED and this question may sound silly but I'll go ahead and ask anyway. What is the proper Mac system for someone who wants to work flawlessly with RED material? From what I understand the files are large and can be handled from within Final Cut Studio 2. Is the 8-core pre-configured Apple system capable of flawlessly handling RED material or is rendering a must in case of "heavier" filters or multiple tracks? Is extra Ram needed? Are there any "catches" one should be aware of? If possible, please provide tech specs for a system fully capable of editing RED material.
