Are there any plans to make a Bayonet plate for the Scarlet? I'd like to be able to use a Canon HD lens on a Scarlet and just use a manual focus crank instead of one of the hand grips (looking at one of the shoulder mount configurations). I'm looking into shooting a reality/documentary show, and the price and quality scream RED, but I am just looking to see if I'd need an adapter (which I've seen other threads saying it works, but I'm wondering about power and all that fun digital information that flows into the camera and stuff like that) or if there are plans to make a plate that deals with those issues.

Thanks-
Billy

The standard B4 2/3" HD bayonet mount is one of the mount options listed for Scarlet. No one knows at this point what the lens interface will support as far as electronics.
