Red 18-85 Lens Support from Red?

Will Red be providing a support solution for the 18-85?

If so, when?

And will it be included in the lens price? If not, how much?

Right now the only solutions are from third parties.

Hi Mark,

From what I have read on the forum and have seen in the RED store (in Lake Forest), RED has a support in the works. The prototype I saw at RED Day looked good. It is not included in the price of the lens, but it can be used for different lenses, such as the 300 mm. ETA was "soon."

Thanks for responding. It was my understanding that they are building one, but there hasn't been any info forthcoming from Red.

Can you describe the prototype you saw? And how long ago did you see it?
