A little help for a noob needed.

I'm trying to film the squirrels in the back yard at 120 fps but can't for the life of me figure out how to get the setting. I've tried all the different combos I can think of but can only get up to 60fps.

If someone can let me know I'd greatly appreciate it.

I believe its

2k 2:1 red drive or 16gig cf

I believe those are the requirements for shooting 120

I've got the red drive. but still seems to max out at 60 fps.

Set your project settings with desired playback frame rate and set resolution to 2K 2:1, REDCODE 28.

In the sensor menu, turn on Varispeed and roll your frame rate up to 120fps. Set your shutter speed / angle to fit your needs.

Like Nick said, you can only shoot 120fps to RED Drive or 16GB CF card, also to RED-RAM.

You can't shoot 120fps at resolutions above 2K, Reduce your resolution to 2K. Also, if you're using the 8GB CF, you can only shoot up to 100fps. See page 28 of the Operations Guide for the complete matrix of resolution vs framerate for various storage media and REDCODE compression settings.
