Red users,

Gamma & Density has just released a new demo for RED workflow and on set color grading. We have just put it up our website! This demo will give users a taste of what the full version of 3cP / 3.1 will bring to RED camera workflows.

go to www.gammadensity.com to download the demo

I need this.

hey!!
your customers service doesn't work very well.
i have send a lot of email but still no answers.
i hope that you will answer on this forum.
my question is:
does the upgrade(for existing user of 3cp/sf 3.0 version) will be free and where is possible to download the new version(non demo mode)?
thanks

Nice software. There is any way to change from Redspace to Rec709 (or CameraRGB) during the grading ? or change the ISO ?

Playing around with it and i think you have to choose at start the ISO, Color space, etc... and cannot get back to the R3D panel to choose different setting for the raw.

thanks

Dexter,

Thanks for your interest in 3cP!

As of right now we do not support key frames or motion tracking. Since most people use a lot of features of 3cP on set, they tend to not want to do any types of motion tracking. Even if they say they do, they almost never need that tool. Most that end up needing that will do it down the line in post.

We do appreciate the feedback and will take your notes into consideration and send them off to development! We are always trying to better serve 3cP user's needs

Etienne,

You do have the option to change your color space whether it be Camera RGB, REDspace, or rec709 as well as ISO during any time of grading. Although, we recommend that you stay with your original start up settings. These settings can be found.

Let us know if you have any other questions, thanks!

Would be great if you could post a quicktime movie (using screen recording software) to demonstrate the application in use and highlight primary benefits and features.

Shooter,

We are slowly going to be uploading a whole video section of these types of videos on our website. I will actually mention them here as to when the arrive. The first video to be up will be the one you are describing.

I got no response back for my email.

Kako,

I apologize for the late reply, we are currently preparing for a RED production. We are looking over your notes at this time and will respond back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks,

G&D Team

By the way, Yuri has a very interesting article on the site. I think it's a very logical approach to the Red, and I think it points to some common ground between those who may think Red is not up to par and those who think it's the greatest thing ever invented. Anyway, I'll let the article speak for itself.

By the way, I am looking forward to testing this product and I like the approach they are taking by implementing a pipeline between the DP and post. A consistency of vision.

Hit CMD + M or File>Image Settings to change R3D settings after you've innitially set them.
