We have to send our RED ONE for upgrade and now have to chose between the very big Pelicase and a cardboard box with lots of bubble wrap.

Does RED mind how it's sent in? How did you do it?

Thanks

I sent mine back for a repair in the cardboard box they sent it to me in with the foam vibration packing. That's how i did it i think i have read it somewhere on here that's what they suggest but don't quote me on it..

Andi.

It's always a good idea to keep the original packaging of sensitive gear. In most cases it's the best way to ship.

Original Pack inside an additional box with a lot of foam...

Ship it with a courier like Fedex, contact their re-importation department for additional info on how to ship. It needs to be well documented so they can check that the same item that was send out came back again.
We in Thailand must make pictures from it and send that to the re-importation department, together with pro-forma invoices.
State the reason: something like: Repair under warranty, will return to owner in xxx, no commercial value.
Also, check for the Customs value, if that is too high it might have a problem too
