I am interested in finding out about the use of programmable repeatable pan and tilt heads for VFXs. More than anything in finding the most affordable rental of one that can handle Red. In Minnesota.

Also if there is any sort of repeatable slider that could handle all of this for dolly + pan + tilt repeatable movement.

I searched, but I am way in over my head here so I was not surprised where my made up jargon didn't pull anything up.

EDIT: Did I mention I was way in over my head? I don't think a robo head would help me save money... sorry. I think I might just need some additional VFX budget... I am actually looking into a morph for the antagonist to go from healthy human to a type of humanoid which would be much like something out of Star Treck... (meaning that make up and prosthetics would achieve the particular look I have in mind, he isn't an other race or alien)

Talon Head. Simple, inexpensive and does repeat moves. My friend has one to rent, email me @ matt ( at ) mattuhry.com. Mo Co slider is possible with .8 module gear track and preston motor, some assembly required.
