I have tried clipfinder because RedRushes is a pain to use for more than a few clips (no individual settings for clips, no save settings, aso).
But know I face the following problem:

I have put up a queue with 10 clips, I have setup and saved the settings, then I start rendering. The MOV is created and I can see the file size grow. But as soon as the individual clip has finished it just disappears. It is not in the trashcan an nowhere on the harddisk.

I have set the output path and made sure not to use blanks.
I am using 10.5.4.

Any ideas?

Clipfinder deletes files if it encounters an error during rendering (or if the render process is stopped midway).
Have a look at the system log (by starting Application/Utilities/Console) and see if there are any messages relating to Clipfinder.
If the problem persists mail me as many details as you can.

Cheers,
Hans

I found the following error message in console:

Code:
1/25/09 5:27:19 PM Clipfinder[173] REDline reported the following error while trying to render '/Volumes/FreeAgent1TB/RED/S01/Einstieg/A001_C003_0713FL.RDC': (
"2009-01-25 17:27:19.002 REDline[189:10b] _CFGetHostUUIDString: unable to determine UUID for host. Error: 35",
    ""
)

It is a Hackintosh I have setup for testing workflow solutions.
I have solved the UUID error by editing the NetworkInterfaces.plist (adding a network interface) and that in return solved the problem with Clipfinder.
Thanks for the tip with the console!

Great software you wrote, btw!
