Hello

I am an amateur and am very interested in purchasing red lenses, can anyone help me and tell me where to buy them from, as you can see I am a novice at this.

Michelle

Michelle, I'm not so sure the Red is a good camera for an amateur. Do not buy lenses unless you have a lot of money to throw away. Do you plan on making your money back by working, renting? Just the nature of your question makes me worried.

Not knowing where to get RED lenses speaks volumes - you should probably not purchase... RENT.

If you're planning on renting them out, do you know anything about lenses?

Yes.

Unless of course the situation is something along the lines that you are shooting a nice big project and are currently only poking around before you have your DoP come help you decide where to invest your thousands upon thousands, upon thousands, of dollars.

Take these guys advice, for you sir it is golden, and I mean it.

Is it Michelle Pootle or Michelle Cook? Is this one of those Dharma initiation videos, or did you get married in the course of three days?

Agree with the others. Cine lenses are a huge investment. A safer bet would be to start out with cheaper Nikon or Canon SLR lenses with a specialty mount.
