Am I just crazy or....

[John Logan]

...did I not recently stumble across a thread around here that mentioned a company in the Los Angeles area that sells sets of "cinevised" Zeiss ZF lenses?

Not talking about having a set cinevised, I know where to get that done, but I could've sworn that I saw a company that sells sets already modded.

Anyone?

Hey Logan,

The link you are referring to had a mention of Duclose lenses in the L.A. area that 'cinevised' the Zeiss ZF.

Really great people.

the only cinevised Zeiss ZF lenses I know of are made by P&S Technik, but they have Nikon mounts... http://www.pstechnik.de/en/optics-lensset.php

Holy shit.
This what exactly many of us are looking for, not mere ring or cap addition.
Any idea about price..? thanks a lot for the link.

Forget getting them rehoused to PL, it would be cheaper for you to buy used original PL with the same cost.

BTW I just enquired with P+S Technik.
Now each rehoused lens cost $2950(except 85mm-$3400), they still have half turn, they still have movement of focus barrel(external focus)

good to know, thanks

This reviewer thinks the nikons are superior to the ziess. I have seen others that agree.
