Shot on a shoestring in North Carolina for five days last August, I used the RED one for the first time. These trailers were made for fundraising three of our films in development through our company, Backwoods Entertainment. Overall, I’m quite pleased with the RED and look forward to using it in association with these independent films! Enjoy!

Excellent sound design on these!

I'll be sure to pass the compliment on to our sound designers! They do excellent work! Matt Doyle (RMD Entertainment in Santa Monica) did Dead by Dawn, and Will Files & Clint Smith (Skywalker Sound) did The Slayers and The Colony.

That couldn't have been cheap! (Unless you have some sort of connection.)

Nice teasers.

I liked the second one, very TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE-ish. I'd like to save them on my computer (they might come in handy as reference in the future  ), but I don't have Quicktime pro on this pc - could you make them avaible for download?

The teasers look great! Great cinemtography. Really fun stuff. Where did you color them?

Thanks for the great comments, guys!

John, for the most part I colored the teasers myself. I went to a DI room in Marina del Rey to do the initial color using Scratch, but we had a headache of a time dealing with the final colored product (long story), so I re-timed the DPX's using a few 3rd party plug-ins in After Effects on my home system.
