FS: Zeiss S16 zoom 12-120mm T2.4

Hi all,

Back up for sale is my S16 Zeiss zoom, Optex conversion of a 10-100mm.

Lens is in perfect condition. Includes Chrosziel zoom dampener.

While Red 2k has not proved to be what many hoped, this lens would serve well a 2/3'' Scarlet, or the mysterious Iknoscope A-cam dll, if it is ever released (I say that because the Ikonoscope web site is down right now...).

Asking price is $5000

If someone has a used Red 18-50mm, I am interested in a trade, with compensation.

this i a good lens. Berfore you sell I would check how well it does work with 3K2:1 croppend to 16:9. This way you have a nice doc lens and 3K 2:1 is superior to that what a F900R can deliver. Which 2K is not.

Hi Hans,

Thanks for your suggestion. I will test this. I had read that thread where you talked about shooting 3K and cropping but had not thought about doing it with this lens.

Indeed I'm really curious to see how useable it is.
