  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Wow this is crazy

Absolutely fabulous

Man that was very cool. There are numerous ways in which this could be used for some serious installation art type of projects. But, I would imagine the real money would be in projecting ads all over the place. Thanks for the link, I have never seen that type of thing before.

A couple of panoramic shots from a projecton that we've made last year...

Corrado,

You rock!

Good shooting and best regards,

Leo

I have done some similar things on a much smaller scale. Projecting on a marble floor in a corporate lobby for a "welcome" mat. Projecting on stage scenery for a couple of productions. One stage projection was on a black scrim. Very subliminal scenery background. You could walk an actor onstage behind the scrim in the dark, then light him and he would appear in the projected image to say his lines.

Just curious, what kind of software is being used to control this multichannel stuff.

In my experience was Delta Electronics (and Spider, I think).
Christie projectors (32 units...)

All the things installed and operates by eventmanagement, Milan, Italy.

I could see this used as some live-action special effects, as long as it is used subtly. Very cool find! Makes me want to try something similar (on a much smaller and cheaper scale, of course)
