Here are some underwater scenes for a trailer I am working on for an indie feature I am working on it was shot with a prototype Sea-Cam underwater housing which I am still perfecting. It was shot with the 18-50 Red lens at 4K 30fps. The clip was exported at 600x300 resolution, medium quality in the Quicktime 264 codec.

Thanx, I love underwater stuff. It will be nice if you can post it in better resolution (1K?)

Monteiro!

I wonder what the story is about for your feature...Its a lot here and with the right music it could come to the surface.

I really liked the expressive freedom with the colors...Beautiful.

Thanks guys,
i will upload a bigger file when I get into the office tomorrow. By the way to give credit where credit is due. it was shot at UNEXSO in Grand Bahama Island. It is the only dolphin swim program that takes trained dolphin into open water to swim with divers and snorkelers. A lot of features have been shot there including the Eye of the Dolphin. it is worth renting.

what a great segment of images of such a beautiful sleek and stunning creature, ...... and the fish is cool too. ( i know it,s not a fish) .

Thanks George...very nice stuff.

I shot a DuPont commercial a long while ago using UNEXSO's trained dolphin, and after that, a commercial for Sea-Doo watercraft using the trained dolphin at Anthony's Key in Roatan, Honduras (both for Crest Films) I don't know if they are still around (Anthony's Key's dolphin operation) as a hurricane did some severe damage to the resort a few years ago.

Glad to hear that UNEXSO is still around.

I posted a question a week ago asking if anyone had overheating problems with the RED One in U/W housings, and if so, how they dealt with it. Perhaps you might have some insight.

Thanks a lot, and thanks for posting your footage...very beautiful.

Actually, it's a mammal.

Gorgeous images. Is that vertical smear in the beach footage or just part of the flare? I didn't think that happened on CMOS chips.

Actually I am wondering about how to deal with the heat issue myself. With the battery and the Red Raid It gets to about a critical point after about an hour and 15 minutes. I may have to attach some sort of giant heat synch to the housing like the ones used on high end audio amplifiers. The only other thing is to pull it out of the housing and let it cool off for a while.
