FS: Ronford F15S +Boost fluid head

Here is a classic old Ronford F15S fluid head plus boost- for those really heavy loads. From the company that makes the gold standard in HD sticks. If you are using primes and a small matte box, this head is too heavy for a Red. At least for my tastes. However if you occassionally throw on a big zoom like a 25-250 with a 6.6" x 6.6" MB, you need a big head like this or the 2575C. Head is creamy smooth with a long telephoto. With a stripped down Red performance can be a little erratic when shooting out in the cold. Head was serviced by Visual Products fall of 2008. Mitchell mount. Asking $1250.00 obo. This is Mitchell mount. Visual Products has 150mm bowls. I suspect the mounting plate is unique to Ronford, but I really don't know.
