RP Lenses

I just got my set of Zeiss lenses "cine-moded" by Duclos and they are awesome. They did the work in 24hrs, which was amazing. Paul the owner is a really nice guy and I will keep coming back there for lens work or purchases. If you live in the LA area I would strongly recommend checking them out. I'll post some pictures of the lenses tomorrow in a new thread.

there is a new 21mm zeiss zf coming out in february - i am told by photografica.com. where i ordered my lenses.

focus gears and step up ring is a must for commercial and fiction work imo - that said I still havnt done that to mine - had to rent UP´s yesterday because of that.... silly me. but now I have zeiss zf and zeiss UP direct comparison. - it was 2 day shoot. 1 st day with ZF 2 nd with Zeiss UP. Later I go to suite on check if I can see difference

I've also had gears and 80mm fronts added to my new ZF's and it makes them very usable lenses, I've also machined a reversing gear for my FF-5.

I've posted some mute footage that I shot with them today on vimeo, it's the first time I've been able to play with them so it ain't going to win any awards but may be useful to see.

I dropped them into Duclos when I was in LA and they fitted the gears and the 80mm fronts are just screw in.

According to the Zeiss web site the 21mm has been delayed till later this year.
