  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

LEMO to (e)SATA Cable?

Thanks for your input Steve. worked with defence and know too well what you say is true.

Back on the RedDrive esata topic...Do we know that if someone produces a lemo/esata cable, that it WILL work properly with most computer Esata ports?

Dave,

I still have to go back to the "there has to be a port-multiplier of some sort in there" argument. Basically in that case support as a SATA device could be dependent on the host computer's SATA chipset, and other factors could be involved.

I might work, it might not. I hear rumours that people have built there own, and they worked, but I don't think there's been confirmation or clarification on that.

A friend of mine sent me this thread, I work in Public Affairs for the Air Force, we currently are authorized to use CF cards and other such media as long as they are formatted in camera and stay with the camera, ie don't store files on them but native camera files.

Cheers
Mike

I would get that in writing and file it. I know some people are still doing what they must to compete there mission but be careful. I know the DOD is not ok with that solution.

Back to the subject at hand what are the chances of getting this cabal made?
