  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

in REDCINE...Format Settings. do you adjust the FORMAT SETINGS for how the footage was shot with the RED or how you want to edit and output your material? My footage is 4K/2:1 and I am editing 1080/Avid
 
If you're targeting HD, then you want to manage that accordingly - know that HD color space is REC709 and a 16:9 aspect ratio. You will have to decide how to deal with aspect ratio via a fit width, fit height, or other crop/scale as desired. for the transcode process.
