Superbowl Doritos spot shot on Red

The Superbowl Doritos spot I worked on as a camera op (and provided Red #625 for) was selected as one of the top five!

And, it was shot using the Red 18-50mm T3 lens ... a little IR filter, a classic black soft. I was amazed at the speed these guys turned it around. It was great working with them.

Just watched and voted for your commercial. I wanted to support a fellow RED user but I must say that IMHO, it is the best of the five by far.

It was a bit of a hassle to register and figure out how to actually vote but worth it. You might want to give a few more details like the fact that you have a shot at winning superbowl tix each time you vote! I don't watch TV so I'm not familiar with these types of promotions.

It's really great to see RED in (at least) two spots in this competition. Hopefully everyone here will be able to support both projects.

Awesome and congrats! It's great that the contest has essentially five winners with a bonus round.

And yes, having Red in at least two is certainly a statement. (I guess then three or more would be an exclamation point?)

I thought the concept was cool when they drummed it up. Simple but twisted ... and having some great actors who can do comedy really pushes it over the top.
