  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Go out and shoot something. There won't be much to talk about for a while in neither forum. So if you are a real filmmaker go and get busy.
 
x-mas is a mighty good time to shoot. No downtime for the real deal. Cameras don't take a break.

Well, at least the first two or three days after the first (13th) Announcement there was more "But I wanted...", "It's to expensive..." and "Can't we get that and that and that and that for free" on Scarletuser. Imho. But maybe my memories were not that good at all, as I was subscribed to all Posts on Scarletuser and only on Recon here...

Right now I'm subscribed to both, but here are the Posts that more scream "Answer to this" ;-)
 
Maybe there is a way to track the winning on both sites for comparisons? :)
 
I am not as active as I used to be on scarletuser. nor on dvxuser, but after all I was a reduser first. There is a lot more actually users to learn from on reduser. I usually go over to the scarlet side if I need a good laugh or a pointless argument of some sort. Not that there aren't some very talented people over there. It just carries a whole different tone.

I agree with Bailey about the tonality of the forums. I believe that once the Scarlet is out and a lot of the scarletusers are using and are utilizing the forum, the knowledge will increase exponentially and the whining will hopefully decrease. I am not such a fan of whining (I agree with Steven Sodenberg's philosophy...thanks to Jim for posting) but I do like the people there because they are good people with (hopefully) good intentions and we all have a love for SCARLET.
 
I post on Scarletuser a lot but the info is better over here. You ask about only posting on scarletuser, why not just post here?
 
I post on both, but feel more comfortable on Scarletuser, perhaps because there are more amateurs there. I'm an amateur enthusiast, and don't pretend to be anything else, but remember your Latin....amateur from amo, to love, true amateurs do it because they love the subject, but then aren't we all, in the true sense "amateur", 'cause there are other ways of making loadsamoney, just become a lawyer, accountant or banker
 
Oh, on the other hand bankers are people who loose loadsmony, other peoples loadsamoney :angry2:
 
While I am a member of both, I see no point. There should be just one site. This one.
 
Oh boy.... Scarlet is still a year away? Thats a lot of time for senseless chatter.
 
I don't post near as much as I used to on either forum. I've been here a year, and yet another year til Scarlet's release. :sad:

I get the feeling of more professionalism on RedUser.

It is the interaction of the forum moderators, and the Red Team that make it a difference for me.

I wish ScarletUser was never started, and it all be on RedUser.

Oh well, I am a part of both...depends on the mood I am in.

P.S. I would rather read "Recon" a lot more than a "Recon Drone". :bleh:
