  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hey Guys,

My name is Alex Ferrari, some of you might remember me from dvxuser.com with my film BROKEN http://www.whatisbroken.com. When I finally worked with the RED camera I was HOOKED. I focused my digital post company's workflow towards RED and wanted to become a RED workflow specialty post house. I opened up shop in Los Angeles and started color correcting a ton on RED projects.

I bought what is broken. I thought demonstrated a great workflow and approach to cost efficient indie film production. It's goo to see that you moved up with the Big Dogs and doing work on Red. Congrats. Definitely want to be like you one day.

Bought Broken, too - right after I got my DVX :tongue: your short was quite an inspiration for me at the time. You guys did a great job on it.

Also, congratulations on your Post shop... Setting up something similar here in Copenhagen - RED-centric workflow but with more focus on audio, so we're finishing off the vocal booth installations at the moment, so busy, busy...

In regards to your offer for Redusers, I think its great. Hope you've gotten some requests. Could you possibly quote some prices, dunno how it works, but maybe for a specific duration?

Also, how do you handle overseas customers? Communication, data transfer etc.?

Thanks! As for overseas, I have my clients ship the drives and I do the work at my office. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you!:detective2:

amazing stuff as always Alex. been a fan since BROKEN... great information on the DVD. I have a feature film called "FUSE" in pre production now that I plan on bringing to you for the color correction. it is slated for a theatrical run and I have some great names attached.
