Man, I need to take a break from landscapes and get with the program here!

Model Mayhem, here I come!

Ketch i'll try my best - i'll message you the link to the private set once its shot. :shifty:

Tom join the world of MM - i love it in there lol - i think you will too.

How about combining both of those and get the best of both worlds and put women in your landscapes

300th Post yay!

Thanks, Leo!

I shot this last night at Palm Springs. What's interesting is that the sun is rising, but also the moon as well. You can see the moon peeping through the clouds right near the center wind turbine. There was also a light dusting of snow on all the nearby mountains, which looked beautiful out there.

That's sweet!

I took this picture inside this man's tiny cave in Bamiyan, Afghanistan. It was nothing but a hole in a cliff wall, with drapes for a door, a couple of blankets, a tarp, and nothing else. Temperatures outside were sub-freezing.

And YES, this was shot on Red One... :)

Try getting this framing without shooting video... hehe... perfect capture, full wingspan... it makes him look like a bomber plane. I really like it.

Thanks Roberto. YES & NO...
YES - it is much easier to get the frame while shooting motion IF Your intention is to capture a still image.
NO - however if Your intention is to capture motion - it is extremely hard to keep the frame (and focus...) on the moving subject. I've spend 5 hrs with the pelicans to get few useable moving shots...

:) Peter

I bet! That is really tight... maybe if you had some sort of smart head from the army or something.. hehe

what shutter did you use?

PS: I think I found two lost brothers from your pelicans that strayed all the way to Florida in my picture

Most of the shots were with the sweet ISO-320, 50FPS and 1/50 shutter. I tried some faster shutter with the available light (up to 1/800), but I can't remember which shots, would have to look up the meta-data...

And yes - these guys do migrate quite a bit around the gulf, so You might be right on that... :)
