David,

When i import ALE created using Red Rushes v3.60 in to Avid Media Composer 3.0.1, Only have V in Tracks Column and audio is not importing. Attached screengrab of ALE for your reference.

Yes, this is described in the Step by Step guide as well as how to correct for that once the ALE is imported and before the batch import. Select ALL, Clip - > Modiy, then select tracks and click the audio tracks desired.

When I try to modify the clips in Media Composer 3.1, I get the following error " Exception:Cannot add audio tracks to a picture clip in a method 2 project".

Is there any solution?

I take it you are in an SD project then... and shooting 24fps?

If you worked in HD, it would be a lot more straightforward - especially in PAL based lands.

Things to try:

1. Start in a 1080p/24 project - import ALE, modify, then switch project to PAL.
2. Double import in an SD project - Import picture first, then change the same ALE to be audio only via the modify, import. Then use AutoSync. Other than the extra modify step, the import times will be the same as if the clip were VA to start.

Thanks michael
First method worked for me.

In order to track the proper 24fps TC in a PAL SD 25fps project using this method you will want to duplicate the START (cmd-D, dtrl-D) and do a copy (not a convert) to the TC24 column.

I'm working on 24p project.

Yes, but in SD, the START always counts as per SMPTE PAL - 25fps. Doing the copy into the TC24 will ensure the rollover is at 23 and 24 keeping a frame accurate timecode count of your EDL. Remember that 24fps is a manufactured format when working in SD, whether that be NTSC or PAL. 24fps in not native to the SD world. Avid allows all timecode rates to be properly tracked based on its relationship to the project format which is defined in the START.
