Anamorphic Lens Rentals - Los Angeles?

Does anyone know of a place to rent Anamorphic lenses in Los Angeles?

I know Clairmont has their selection of Hawk, Todd-AO, and their own lenses, but is there anyone else? Does anyone rent the Lomo's I keep reading about? We're on a tight budget, but I'd much rather shoot anamorphic than frame for the ratio.

Bruce Taylor from Indie35.com owns a set of Lomo's, I believe he's got a 35, 50, and 75mm Lomo roundfront, and a 40-200mm Lomo rear adapter zoom in OCT19.

Ask clairmont about some of their more economical anamophics - I forget what I rented years ago, but it was super cheap.

Their own Clairmont Anamorphics are cheaper to rent than the Hawks, as are probably the Todd-AO's, which are quite old.

The Clairmont Anamorphics are small and were built for Steadicam / handheld work -- I think they were made by Optex or Century Precision Optics.

The Todd-AO's are a mixed set, some date to the late 1960's, some to the mid 1970's when they started using Nikon elements (I think) to create some faster lenses and some macros, telephotos, etc. Looking at some on a projection bench, I noticed that they have shifted towards a warm yellow cast compared to the Hawks.

Anatoly at Slow Motion Inc. rents the Elite anamorphics, but they may not be particularly cheap. They are in Sun Valley, CA.

Thanks Matt for spreading the word! I do have a set of Round Front Lomos 35mm, 50mm and 75mm available for rent. The pics below are the lenses and a recent Music Video Shoot that we used the lenses on.
