So- I am in normal shutter mode and I want to shoot 100frames. If my shutter speed is 1/96 or below- the degrees turns red. It still lets me record and playback. Why does it turn red? Here's is what is says in the ops manual- "Note: If the operator requests a shutter speed (angle) that is outside the capability of the
camera in that mode, the actual shutter speed (angle) used will be reported in red text."

If it is outside the capability camera- how does it let you record? Is there a consequence in post?

If a camera is taking a picture 100 times a second... how can each individual picture be exposed for longer than 1/100th of a second? That would defy the laws of time and space.

RED ONE
The only camera in the world that can defy the laws of physics.

While other camera companies join the pixel race to more resolution, RED boldly targets the space time continuum. :nuke:

There is your answer, you asked for 1/96th exposure at 100 fps. That's not possible. So what does the camera report the value to be? i.e its the number in red text....
