  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi!

I am making my own custom mattebox. I want it to take round 4 1/2 (4.5 inch) filters and I want to modify some normal square/rectangular filter trays so they can take them.

5x5 filter trays seem the closest to what I want. If anyone has a couple of them for sale (or close enough to 5x5), please send me an e-mail.

I think I have an extra one that won't fit in my Redrock Micro. Let me investigate.

Cavision makes a universal filter tray that is size adjustable, and accommodates up to 5.65" square filters. I believe Adorama sells them...not too expensive, about $120 apiece. At the very least, you could probably go into the showroom and inspect them to see if they'll suit your needs.
