Long story short - on a 24fps shoot we had a b-camera on for one day. the b-camera footage was shot at 24fps - but with a 23.98 time base, so the B-camera footage is all set to 23.98fps coming out of red rushes, and for obvious reasons won't play nicely in the 24fps FCP project.
Question: is there any simple way to modify the frame rate of those files from 23.98 to 24 - the output Quicktimes and/or the R3D files?
I can do it in a heartbeat in Aftereffects with the QTs, but that would involve re-rendering.
And, before this thread goes off track I just want to stress again that this footage was shot at 24fps, it's just that they are reported as 23.98 frames because of the project time base set in the camera.
A half-screw-up on a rushed shoot.
help much appreciated.
