Minimum requirements on a pc on 4k

Hello everyone,

I have a small company in mexico, I´ll start working on VFX for a shortfilm at 4k, I need to get the cineon files from the harddrives using REDCINE.

my question is..

what would be the minimum necessary on a pc specs to accomplish this goal?

Which kind of VFX? Will you be doing only the VFX or editing and color grading too?

Hi Nomad,

Only VFX, I want to get the backplates for After Effects and compose the 3D cineon files on top, no color correction or editing, just previews and rendering of the FX sequences.

If you don't need realtime, any modern PC should do. Just get enough RAM.
