  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Transferring Camera Looks

Migueal - I'm trying to export looks from the camera. There is an export look option on the camera. Not trying this with Redcine.

Shawn - I am using B17. This works for you?

Yes. Used it to set 3 cameras to the same settings for one of our fights.

Exported look/user profiles to SD card and loaded up to 3 B16 cameras.
 
Just also tried the user profile export and got the "Profile Export Failed. Verify that the SD Card is not full and try again."

New Red supplied SD card and it's empty.

I guess I will need to contact Red Support.

Just to double check again - you're using an SD card, right, not a CF card? CF card slots into the back and can record video, SD slots up vertically at the front of the camera, and can only record and restore camera settings...

Sorry if you are using a CF and this seems patronising, but just wanted to triple check!!

Dom - thanks for checking. Yes, using the SD card, below the side record button.

Got in contact with Red Support. Working on it with them. Tried another SD card, still no go.

With SD cards, check that the physical slide lock is set to the unlock position.... not saying that's your problem but always possible.

OK - to resurrect this thread, just bought a 2GB third-party SD card to hold library looks and carry around with me, and...

It fails with the same error message. Bugger. My Red-supplied card works fine.

Did you find any solution to this in the end??
 
Somehow the RED One doesnt recognize cards bigger than 1 GB, so in order to use them you need to create a 1GB partition on your bigger-than-1GB card.
It should work fine after that.
