OK, here is a quick teaser for the film I'm working on. Topside scenes shot with R1, Master Primes and Red 300mm glass, Pancro IRNDs, Arri MB and Ronford Baker Atlas Head.

This is a quick edit (took me half a day) and all usual excuses apply.:innocent:

Critical comments welcome.

Wow.
The underwater is amazing. Those shots when she flips in front of you are crazy

HDCAM :w00t:

I thought so.

The open and seal shots are beautiful.

Despite some heated discussions in the bubble blowers thread, I really do look forward to seeing some U/W with the RED and your 14MP. Any idea when?

Thanks Guys, Thanks Mike,

I need to wait until at least March - April for my back to fully heal before I can start lifting camera and rebreather again. My first shoot is topside (joining my furry family for a month or two), but then I am planing to film elephant sharks around May.

To give you some more appetite, here is a teaser with more underwater sequences using CinePort with HDCAM:

BTW, the fish hunting sequence was shot in about 5m-7m viz. The port makes huge difference. You couldn't see anywhere near this well with your mask. I can't wait to use CinePort with Master Prime and Red One.

It was a he: an 8 month old pup we called Turbo - georgeos character. We became very good friends. He disappeared from the colony when his mum had another pup. I had many happy moments with him. I wish I knew where he is now.

But, you are right, the second jump he completely misjudged the distance and forgot I was underwater in front of his landing path. How he managed to turn away without crashing into the camera is a complete mistery to me.
