Just wondering if

a. This would work
b. If anyone Red or 3rd party would be making one

I have a Nikon D90 (I did not buy it for video mode) and it would be nice to not have to buy 2 sets of lenes right away.

Why not? :)

I want the same!, Scarlet 2/3 with RED-mini lens for wide (6.5mm, 16mm) and I have some Nikkor fast lenses (DX and FX) for normal and tele (super tele) use.. for example 80-200mm (FX) lens will be 300-757mm on Scarlet 2/3, if U have the 80-200mm DX lens, it will be 200-500mm.

Depend on what kind of lenses do U want to use, DX formatum or FX formatum, (FX sensore size: 36x24mm, DX sensor size: 23.7x15.8mm, Scarlet 2/3 sensor size: 10.1x5.35mm) the crop factor changes.

(FX, DX are Nikon format, sorry, I dont know how about canon)

For me it would be a stop gap. Earn some cash with the DX lenses then slowly move over to the red primes.
