Good day . Now my workflow is changed , and now we will work with Log
and Transfer. And final working version is 2k . Sow for me time of
render from color after final CC is main question now.
For 1 minutes commercial i can always wait , but for huge 2 hours
footage i want to make my live faster :) .
I have SAN with 3 MacPros and 1 Xserv , sow i am ready to try
Network Render.

Please help me with answer , can i make Network Render for Color ? It
means that when i will click render in Color , in background Mac 1
will render 1 file , Mac2 will render 2 file , and mac 3 will render 3
file :) .
And also , is it possible to use Second Mac for distribute render , for
getting Real Time in Color , as it is on Luster .

PS : It can be Q master , but i did not found any information about Color in Documentation .

As Gunliek already mentioned, Color does not have any form of network rendering.
It is possible to hack a manual parallel rendering setup by copying your projectfiles to another machine, copying the source media to that machine, relinking the media and just add half of the shots to the render queue.

Relinking, however, is a one-clip-at-a-time pain in the ass from the Color GUI, so you need to dig into the .colorproj file, and actually hack the hidden XML files that represent each shot, in order to replace the original sourcepaths to the new local path. You can use a text editor that can search & replace text at the filesystem level (such as TextWrangler), to do this semi-automatically.

The downside to doing it this way (as if hacking the XML files weren't already a "downside") is that since each instance of Color only renders a selected portion of your sequence, you have to manually stitch your roundtripped FCP sequences together

It's probably more trouble than it's worth. Though I've been thinking of coding up my own internal utility to do all the relinking stuff (as well as copying keyframes and secondaries to other slots, which is also impossible without manually hacking the XML files)

We would all like a bit of that - Network render was in development before Color was owned by Apple - Has'nt been realised as yet - time will tell.

Also be aware Color is GPU based, not CPU based - multithreading anyone?!

Edit....Just read Gunleik's link above - all that is spot on... X1900 is the card at the mo.

Sorry for the slightly pointless post there...
