  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Let's see your RED ONE

I wonder why there is no thread where people show off their rigs :)

This is an attempt!

I have no showable pictures in full setup yet, hope to have some after our shoot in Hong Kong!

So post your configuration please! :)

paul. is that the 18-85? looks mean. :)

what event were you at? in japan?

Indeed it is. The 18-85 lens is the business, no doubt. Fluid, professional actions on the rotating parts, sharp image throughout the range, no breathing or ramping to speak of. Gorgeous image. Well worth the money and bodes well for the rest of the range coming soon. I'm definitely down for a set of Red Primes having seen the 85 T1.9 proto Ted showed me at InterBEE, the trade show just finished here in Tokyo where the photos were taken.

Not that I want to derail the thread, but here's a still image from the 18-85 lens taken at InterBEE of one of my staff :)

Danty Bang! How are you man? Here is Sputnik on Avon shoot...I like to keep it nice and compact. We were using CF cards but I have ET shock mount for rigging RED RAID drive to the side of the camera.
