The rubber bushing for the Nikon mount

I lost one of the rubber bushing design for the Nikon mount whilst changing the lens.
The other is worn out and no longer fits.
Although awkward to use they make a huge difference.
I'm wondering if I am using them correctly, or if they are just tricky to use. And by the way I read the thread about it.
Whatever the case I need two new bushings and maybe some extra ones for my safety. They're not in the store, how can we get some?

Rubber bushing?

I just installed my Nikon mount for the first time this last weekend. I didn't notice a rubber bushing? Can you describe it?
